How Do I Mount My Rifle?
Mounting your rifle to your new tripod is fairly simple:
Install an ARCA RAIL. On traditional rifles you will drill two holes into the stock near the magwell recess the t nuts into the barrel channel. (Select the “Stock” option from the drop-down box.)
For rifles with M-LOK® style attachment points, we offer an M-LOK® Compatible option for the ARCA RAIL. This will simply attach to the bottom of the rifle and mount to any ballhead or leveling head offer. (Select the “M-LOK® Compatible” option from the drop-down box.)
AR15/ Full length Picatinny Rails – for full length picatinny rails you can purchase the PICATINNY/ARCA ADAPTER
If you do not wish to drill holes in your rifle you can purchase a Triclawps SOLO for use on all rifles.
How T0 Mount Spotters or Binos:
Spotting Scopes – For spotting scopes there is typically a 3/8″ or 1/4″ hole on the bottom of the spotter. We sell 1/4 ” ARCA PLATES which will screw into the bottom of your spotter.
Binos – Binoculars can be mounted using our Bino Clamp. Sizing information is located HERE. The bottom of these bino mounts is Arca Swiss so it will mount directly to your ballhead or leveling head.

The Ruck
This is the perfect 2 Vets tripod for the backcountry hunter. Tough, rock solid, ultra lightweight and with the new integrated center column, you can make fine adjustments in height easily from any shooting position. Great product, highly recommended!

Just buy it. Don’t hesitate.
I’m fairly new to tripods, I’ve used a few and have yet to be impressed with their application for my style of hunting (predator) until now. I purchased this with the 55mm ball head and I am ecstatic, the value you get is incredible. I was first skeptical for how sturdy it could be given its size and price, after initial setup I had no regrets.

Great tripod
Everything I’ve purchased from two vets has been top quality. I got the ruck to use along side my no name and they are a perfect combination. Light weight, durable and would highly recommend.

The Ruck
First impressions is it is a very well built tripod. Very sturdy and well designed. The center post design creates a very sounder package when folded up. Going to be my new hunting tripod and I don’t foresee having any issues. Better than my Sirui tripod setup. I’ll update it I have any issues.

Ruck in the
I cover a lot of miles in difficult terrain out west hunting and I love this tripod for the weight and stability it offers to glass and serve as a shooting platform. I came back to the site to buy another for my son who hunts Alaska and found out it was discontinued. Super disappointed and I hope you re-consider.

Ruck
Thing is an absolute machine for glassing and light shooting work. Compact and light for how durable this thing is.

How stable is it?
When using a tripod for shooting, I usually use it along with a set of shooting sticks at the rear. I have the excellent Recon tripod, but wanted something lighter and more compact for carrying and shooting in the field. After receiving the Ruck and putting a ball head on it, my first session was to shoot a series of 25 two-shot groups with a 10.5 pound rimfire rifle setup from the kneeling position. With no warm-up the average of the 25 groups measured 0.7 minute of angle center to center. The average size of the last 20 groups after settling into the routine measured 0.6 MOA. Not only is the Ruck more than stable enough for my purposes, I am happy with its size and weight, and the leg segment locks are easy to use and lock positively in place. I normally use the (supplied) spiked feet, but the rubber feet can be useful in some situations. The supplied carrying case that is long enough for use with both the foot spikes and a ball head was a final nice touch. Another excellent product from Two Vets.
